After an early lunch I went to Sammy's camera to purchase a new tripod head. I have had a set of carbon fiber Manfroto 190CXPRO3 tripod legs sitting in my room for a while. I went with the same 3 way pan tilt head I have been using for the last 4 years, the 804RC2. I got to Laguna Beach early today and went to Crescent Bay Point Park. As usually there were no clouds and the light was harsh. I was planing on staying here till sunset but a wedding was setting up so I had to leave. This park would be a great place to shoot the sunrise if only I could wake up that early.

I did not know where I wanted to go after leaving the park so I just drove south. I saw beach access on Cress street so I parked and checked it out. There is a large rock formation and a rock covered beach so I grabbed my bag and headed out. This was a fun beach to shoot but the light was just terrible. I will have to come back here when the clouds are out.
