I again drove down to San Diego to shoot. This time I did not take the S and ended up sitting in traffic the entire way. The usually 1 hour drive took nearly 3 hours. Most of the time I was not even going fast enough for a speed to register on the speedo. When I finally arrived in Del Mar the weather had changed and it was not gloomy and over cast, before I left my house I checked the web cam and the clouds were perfect for shooting.  I wanted to shoot some trains but I did not have a fast enough shutter speed to freeze the action so the train photos came out poor. The trains approach very fast so you don't have time to set up, you need to be all ready set up when they come. You either need to have your settings set up to freeze the trains or stopped down to have a infinite DOF. I could not do both on my camera because it does not handle ISOs above 400 cleanly.
